Associate Degree for Transfer (AD-T)

Transfer to your saved spot at a four-year university! Earning an AA-T or AS-T degree at PCC guarantees you admission to many four-year universities with junior standing and prepares you to complete a bachelor degree in a similar major at a CSU or a participating UC, HBCU or private university.

How To Transfer With An AD-T

The Associate Degree for Transfer (AD-T) gives you the opportunity to save time and money by guaranteeing you a saved spot at many four-year universities in California. The process is simple:

1. Choose which AA-T or AS-T you wish to pursue at PCC

   PCC currently overs 25 different AD-T programs! See all AD-T Majors

2. Complete All AD-T Requirements

   You must complete 60 semester units of required general education coursework and major-specific lower division coursework. Please meet with a counselor for help with planning your courses. 

3. Arrange Your Transfer to a Participating Four-Year University

   With your Associate Degree for Transfer, you are guaranteed admission to a saved spot at a participating four-year university. This degree guarantees admission into the CSU system in a similar major, but not necessarily to a particular campus. If you're applying to Historically Black Colleges and Universities and/or participating non-profit, independent university, you are guaranteed admission into the exact campus you applied to and the major you want to pursue. 4. Complete your Bachelor’s Degree at a Four-Year University.

   When you transfer, you'll start at your university with junior standing!
